Guide to Stockholm Arlanda International Airport (ARN)

Stockholm Arlanda Airport is the largest of all
the Nordic airports and is located 43 kms north of Stockholm city
centre.
Terminals
and check-in
There are four terminals: 2, 3, 4 and 5, which are connected by
courtesy shuttle bus no. 10. The bus connects all terminals: 2,
3, 4 (SAS flights) and Terminal 5. Shuttle bus no. 14 also operates
between all terminals including the long-term car park and the SAS
Arlandia Hotel.
Airport
facilities
In all the terminals there is a total of 25 restaurants, including
a variety of cafés, restaurants and fast-food outlets. There
are also several bars.
Business
and meetings
PC workstations are available in Terminals 2 and 4, while Internet
access is present in Terminals 4 and 5. Further business facilities
include airline VIP lounges situated across all the terminals.
Shopping
and money
In the various terminals there are 35 shops, selling everything
from specialty local produce and handicrafts, modern fashions, gifts
and souvenirs and travel accessories.
There are numerous ATMs distributed
across Terminals 2, 4, 5 and at SkyCity, which is between Terminals
4 and 5. There are also two full-service banks available in the
airport, as well as bureau de change facilities in Terminal 2, with
many others in Terminal 5 and one in SkyCity.
Disability
assistance
Those with hearing disabilities will find text telephones in SkyCity
and in Terminals 2 and 4. Lifts and wheelchair-accessible toilets
are found in all terminals while special services for those with
disabilities may be booked in advance by contacting the respective
airline, or when checking in. Special parking spaces are also provided.

is available at the desk located in the Terminal 5 Arrivals Hall.

Stockholm Arlanda International Airport transportation
By taxi
Taxis depart from directly outside the terminals, while Luxury taxis
may be reserved from Freis Rent (Tel: (0) 8 309 100). Before taking
a taxi, passengers should speak with a taxi co-ordinator outside
the terminal.
By car
To reach the airport by car from Stockholm, follow the E-4 north
to Arlanda and follow signs to the airport.
By rail
Three railway stations are located in the airport: one (under SkyCity)
for long-distance destinations including Trondheim and Göteborg,
and two for frequent express trains to Stockholm (one under Terminal
5 and one with exits to Terminals 2, 3 and 4). The Arlanda Express
trains run every 15 minutes at peak times 05:05-00:35; journeys
to central Stockholm take 20 minutes.
The SJ Trainbus and bus no. 583 provide
bus links to Märsta station, one stop north of Stockholm Central
station, which is also served by InterCity and X2000 trains.
By bus
Bus stations are located in front of Terminals 2, 4 and 5, with
buses serving Stockholm City Terminal running every five to ten
minutes at peak times between 06:40-23:05 daily; journeys take 45
minutes. Buses to many other destinations are also available from
the airport.
Parking
Parking is provided at multi-storey and outdoor car parks which
provide direct access to the terminals. Further spaces are located
underneath SkyCity, whilst long-term parking is located further
away from the terminals; it has lower rates and is linked by courtesy
shuttle buses nos. 14 and 17.
