Guide to Saint Lucia Hewanorra International Airport (UVF)
Located on the southern tip of island near Vieux-Fort,
the airport is 67 km distant from Castries.
Terminals
and check-in
There is only one terminal at the Airport. A second regional airport,
Vigie, is located adjacent to Castries, but only services flights
to Caribbean destinations.

There are several restaurants, cafeterias and bars providing refreshments
and meals.
Medical services and a hospital are
located 3km from the airport.
Business
and meetings
Several VIP lounges are available for business travellers.
Shopping
and money
A variety of shopping is available at the airport, including duty-free
shops, a newsagent, a chemist, and gift shop.
There is a bank branch located in
the terminal, but it does not open until 12:00.
Disability
assistance
Wheelchairs, lifts and personal assistance are provided to facilitate
the transit of those suffering from physical disabilities, with
specially adapted toilets also provided.

Saint Lucia Hewanorra International Airport transportation
By taxi
Taxis are located outside the terminal. Services available include
Southern Taxis, with transfers to Castries and the north of the
island and should cost around EC$120 for up to 4 persons.
By car
To reach the airport by car, follow the East Coast road, the principal
link between the north and south of the island.
By helicopter
Helicopter transport is also available from the airport, however
reservations are necessary (Tel: 1-758 458 6211).
By bus
Buses are available, but passengers should be advised that they
will have to walk to the main road. The trip to Castries costs approximately
$8.00 EC, but it will take twice as long to get there than by taxi.
Parking
There is parking for 100 cars at the airport.
