Guide to Palma de Mallorca International Airport (PMI)

Palma de Mallorca Airport is one of Europe’s
premier tourist destinations and is located 11kms southeast of Palma
City.
Terminals
and check-in
There is one terminal at the airport with four concourses: A, B,
C and D. Departures is located on the top-floor, with almost 200
check-in desks provided.
Airport
facilities
Several bars and restaurants can be found at the airport, including
a snack bar and a self-service restaurant which are located in the
Arrivals Hall of the Central Terminal.
There are also post boxes, a post
office and telephones located across the terminal. Further facilities
at the airport include a 24-hour first aid service and pharmacy.
There are also several travel agents in the Arrivals Hall.
Business
and meetings
Business facilities are provided in the departures lounge. Three
VIP lounges are available at the airport (Tel: +34 971 789 631),
the Randa, l'Ofre and Tomir, located on the Departures floor. Opening
hours are from 06:00-23:00.
Shopping
and money
There are a variety of shops, including duty-free, a tobacconist,
leather goods store, a toy shop, several shoe shops, a jeweller’s,
optician’s, florist’s, sweet shops, gift shops and a
clothing accessories outlet.
A full service bank, 24-hour bureau
de change and several ATMs are available in the terminal.
Disability
assistance
Lifts and ramps facilitate wheelchair-access across the terminal.
Toilets for disabled passengers are available and special parking
spaces are on hand in the car parks.
Information
There are many airline and tour operator desks located on the ground
floor that can provide additional assistance.

Palma de Mallorca International Airport transportation
By taxi
Taxis run to Palma from outside Door D on the Arrivals Hall, trips
taking approximately 15 minutes. Taxi companies operating to the
city centre include Radio Taxi, Taxi Telefono, Taxi Palma and Fono
Taxi.
By car
To reach the airport by car, drive out along the autovia in the
direction of Santaní Santaýí and then follow
signs to the airport.
By bus
Bus no. 17 departs the airport every 20 minutes (06:10-1:30), serving
Paseo Mallorca in central Palma de Mallorca; trips take 30 minutes.
Coming from the city, Bus no. 17 leaves from Palma every 20 minutes
(05:40-1:30). Another option is Bus no. 25 which operates between
the airport and Palma every 30 minutes (06:30-1:00); trips take
25 minutes. Bus no. 25 is more efficient and doesn't stop between
the airport and Palma. The bus stop is located in front of the multi-storey
car park, outside Door D of the Arrivals Hall, and there is also
a bus stop outside the check-in counters.
Parking
There is a covered carpark located near the terminal which provides
long- and short-term parking. The car park has spaces for 5,700
vehicles over seven floors. All floors include parking spaces and
toilets for the disabled, while the fourth floor has travelators
which link the car park with the terminal building.
