as its counterpart John F Kennedy airport, it is still a very important
hub for air traffic coming and going out of New York City.
Terminal
and check-In
There are four terminals which are all located under the Central
Terminal. Besides the main terminals there are a number of satellite
terminals serving a few of the larger US carriers only (the Delta
Terminal and the Marine Air Terminal). These are positioned side
by side within the main airport complex. All terminals are linked
by a free shuttle service.

There are good all round amenities at this airport. There are also
a number of fast food restaurants and bars. The Central Terminal
has the widest range of shopping.

10 conference rooms. There is a range of secretarial facilities
and computer workstations available. The Business Traveller Centre
in the main building also provides internet and fax services.

de change and ATMs are easily found in all but the Marine Terminal.

New York La Guardia International Airport Transportation
By taxi
A large number of taxis operate from outside the airport terminals,
some offering a better quality service than others! Ask at the Ground
Transportation desk as to which are licensed and which are not.
Shared taxi vans can also be arranged from the desk. Taxi fares
can be expensive but a bit of haggling can result in a reduced fare.
By car
Head for 94th Street running onto Ditmars Boulevard, then follow
airport signs.
By bus
This is a good option for riding around New York and surrounding
districts. Buses are cheap and efficient. The New York Airport Service
Express Bus services Manhattan, Queens and JFK Airport. The quickest,
least congested and most pleasant way to travel from La Guardia
is by water shuttle. The trip takes just 25 minutes, even during
rush hour. The service runs on the hour from 07:45 am to 06:30 pm
on weekdays only.
Parking
The airport has great parking. All options are offered and reduced-rates
