Airport (MSY)
The airport is located 10 miles west of New Orleans
and is currently undergoing expansion.
Terminals
and check-in
There is only one terminal at the airport, with four concourses:
A, B, C and D.
Airport
facilities
A variety of restaurants and cafés are located throughout
the terminal. Further facilities include a 24 hour lost property
office located on the upper level of the west lobby near concourse
C. Lockers are not available, however Rush-it Courier Services provides
a storage facility at the baggage reclaim area between baggage carousels
5 and 6. A post office is located in the main ticket hall.
Business
and meetings
The airport has a conference centre (tel: +1 504 464 3547) that
is positioned on the mezzanine level above concourse C and is open
08:30 to 16:30. It provides meeting rooms that accommodate up to
50 people. Audiovisual equipment, conference calling, data ports,
presentation equipment and catering services are all provided.
Shopping
and money
There are many shops and duty-free outlets available throughout
the four concourses.
A Whitney National bank branch is
located in the main ticket hall. ATMs and bureaux de change are
located throughout the airport: in the east lobby near concourse
B, in the ticket lobby next to the bank, in the west terminal on
the lower level near the Southwest Airlines Baggage Claim and on
the lower level near the charter baggage claim.
Disability
assistance
The airport is fully adapted for people with disabilities and there
are eleven TDD telephones (tel:+1 504 463 1057) positioned around
the airport.
Information
Visitor information services are open daily from 08:00 to 21:00.
These are located in the west lobby (tel: +1 504 464 2752), in the
west terminal (tel: +1 504 463 1020) and in the east baggage claim
area.

International Airport transportation
By taxi
Taxis are located on the lower level outside the baggage claim area.
By car
To reach the airport by car from I-310, follow the Airline Highway
(Hwy-61) northeast to the airport. Coming from New Orleans, take
I-10 west and then the Airport Access Road exit.
By bus
Public buses are provided by Jefferson Transit and serve areas in
the local district. The Greyhound Bus departure point is on the
upper level outside entrance 7. Coastliner runs nine shuttles per
day to destinations along the Mississippi coast.
An Airport Shuttle service is also
available and operates between the airport and hotels in the central
business district (tel: +1 504 465 9780).
Parking
A large on-site parking garage provides long- and short-term parking.
An outdoor car park for both short- and long-term parking is also
located on the airport property.
