Guide to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
Transportation to and from the airport

Newark International Airport was renamed Newark Liberty International Airport in August 2002, in the wake of the September 11 attacks. The airport is New York’s third airport.

Terminal and check-In
There are three terminals at Newark. Terminal A provides the majority of domestic destinations, Terminal B serves most internationals airlines and Terminal C is reserved for Continental airlines. A monorail links all the terminals and also extends to the car parking area.

Airport facilities
The majority of services are in Terminal C with several shopping opportunities, a food court and a few drinking establishments. Terminal C contains a ‘departure spa’ and the airport has two special areas where airplane enthusiasts can watch the planes take off.

Money
Banks, ATMs and currency exchange services are widely available throughout the airport.

Information
Newark Airport has friendly customer service staff willing to help travellers with queries they may have about travel arrangements or airport facilities (look out for the red coats).
