Guide to Montréal Dorval International Airport (YUL)
This is one of Canada’s premier airports
and is a central hub for international flights to many of the world’s
destination. It also has many domestic and short haul flights leaving
from here.
Terminal
and check-In
Dorval has a main domestic terminal and an International concourse.
The terminals are split into upper and lower tiers with arrivals
on the lower and departures on the upper tier. Aeroquays aid speedy
passenger movement throughout all airport buildings. There is a
travel insurance company also within the main terminal building.

There is a large range of shopping options available. The bars and
restaurants are of a high quality.
Business
and shopping
The Hilton hotel has all necessary business and conferencing requirements
and within the airport are internet access points. The VIP lounge
in the main terminal building also provides some business services
and use of computers if needed.
Shopping
and money
There are some interesting duty free shopping and bureaux de change,
banks and ATMs are widely available.
Disability
assistance
The airport has the basic requirements for disabled travellers but
the airport encourages those with specific requirements to contact
the information and customer service department before arrival.

Montréal Dorval International Airport
By taxi
The taxi rank is located outside the arrivals hall. There is a constant
supply of taxis which can be paid for by credit card. US currency
is also accepted. Taxis are authorised and all have meter and standard
charging. Limousines are also available for hire.
By car
To get into the city follow the Highway 40 which leads straight
into downtown Montreal.
The Airport’s Aérobus service takes you straight into
the heart of Montréal.
By bus
All the main hotels operate a service to and from the airport but
there is bus station located at De la Gauchetiere West. The airport
is authorised to issue bus tickets.
Parking
The airport has extensive parking
facilities including valet parking. Most car parking is located
within easy walking distance of the main terminal. Long term parking
is further away but there is a park and ride service available from
here.
