Guide to Malaga International Airport
(AGP)
One of the most important airports on the Iberian
Peninsula is Malaga Airport. The airport is located 8 km southwest
of Malaga city centre and is 5 km north of Torremolinos.
Terminals
and Check-in
The airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, which
are adjacent to one another and connected internally.
Airport
facilities
Bars, restaurants and fast food outlets are primarily located in
the Centro Plaza in Terminal 1. Cafés and bars are also located
in the Centro Comercial in the departures hall on the second floor
of Terminal 2.
A pharmacy is located in the Central
Plaza and medical service is also available.
Business
and meetings
There are two VIP lounges equipped with fax and telephone facilities
for the business traveller. For meetings, contact the airport to
arrange the rental of rooms. However, there is no business centre
at the airport as of yet.
Shopping
and Money
Most of the shopping is located in the Central Plaza in Terminal
1. Other shopping opportunities are located in the Centro Comercial
located in the Terminal 2 departures hall on the second floor. Duty-free
shops are available throughout the terminals.
There are many ATMs throughout both
terminals. A bank is located in the arrivals hall of Terminal 2
(open 09:00-19:30).
Disability
assistance
Disabled parking spaces are for badge holders only. Inside the airport,
assistance is offered by the airlines. Advise your airline in advance
should you have any special needs.
Information
Information points (tel: +34 (0) 95 204 8804) are located in the
arrivals hall of Terminals 1 and 2 and also at the departures hall
in terminal 2. Information is provided in several languages by staff
wearing bright green jackets. The major airlines also have information
points in the arrivals and departures halls.

transportation
By taxi
Taxis leave from outside both terminals and reach Malaga, Fuengirola
and Torremolinos within 20 minutes. An airport charge is added to
the taxi fare.
By car
For those driving, the N-340 will lead from the airport to Fuengirola,
located southwest of the airport, and to Malaga to northeast of
the airport. The N-331 then leads north from Malaga to Cordoba.
The E15 is another access route and connects the airport to the
coast.
By rail
Trains to Malaga, Torremolinos and Fuengirola depart every 30 minutes.
Malaga trains run from 07:03 to 23:45 and the others run between
05:58 and 22:43.
By bus
Bus no. 19 and tourist shuttle buses operate between the airport
and Malaga and depart every 30 minutes between 06:30 and 23:30.The
bus leaves from outside the international arrivals hall. A bus service
to Marbella is also available and departs every 45 minutes between
05:30 and 23:45.
Parking
Short-term car parks are conveniently located outside both terminals.
Covered and outdoor parking is provided by the car park outside
of Terminal 2, whilst long-term parking (longer than four days)
is found in the terminal 1 car park.
