Guide to Ibiza International Airport (IBZ)
Ibiza International Airport is the main gateway
onto the island, with convenient connections to the Spanish mainland
and neighboring island of Mallorca. The airport lies 7 km from Ibiza
city centre and 5 km from San Jorge.
Terminals
and check-in
There is only one terminal in the airport.

facilities
Refreshments and meals are provided by many fast food outlets, bars,
restaurants, a cake shop and a café. A patisserie and sweet
shop are also available in the Terminal.
Business
and meetings
There is a conference hall for up to 80 people available for hire.
Facilities include 40 computers, TV, video and overhead projector.

Shopping
and money
There are many shopping opportunities available, including duty-free,
a newsagents, a sweet shop, local crafts and souvenirs, gift and
jewelery shops.
There is a bureau de change, a bank
and ATMs in the terminal.
Disability
assistance
Physical access for the disabled is available with lifts, lowered
pavements, adapted telephones and special toilets all present in
the terminal. There are also five dedicated parking-spaces available
in the carpark.
Information
An information desk (24-hours daily from May-October and 07:00-24:00
during November-April) is located in the terminal. Further information
on local and regional tourism is available at a travel agency desk,
Viajes Atalaya, located in the terminal.

Ibiza International Airport transportation
By taxi
Taxis are located outside the main terminal building, with services
operating to the centre of Ibiza. The journey takes about 20 minutes.
Playa d'en Bossa, San Antonio, Santa Eulalia, San José and
San Juan are also reachable by taxi.
By car
To reach the airport by car, head along the Carretera del Aeropuerto
towards San José, before taking the exit towards San Jorge,
then pass by San Jorge, and follow the signs to the airport.
By ferry
There are frequent ferry crossings from Ibiza to Formentara, with
trips taking 45 minutes.
By bus
A bus runs hourly to Ibiza from 07:00-22:35. Journeys last 30 minutes.
Parking
Free parking for a maximum of 15 minutes is available at Zona Azul
(Blue Zone) for picking-up and dropping-off passengers and/or luggage.
For longer stays, go to Parking P1. The initial 30 minutes are free.
After that rates are based on an hourly rate. Payments have to be
made at automated payment machines before you return to your car.
