Guide to Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
Houston airport is one of the busiest airports
in America providing flights to over 150 destinations world wide.
It is about 30 minutes drive from the city.
Terminals and check-In
There are four passenger terminals: A, B,C and D. It is only terminal
D that offers international flights. A free shuttle bus service
connects all the terminals.

Each terminal has a selection of refreshment outlets however the
majority of them are in terminals C and D. There are a number of
bookshops and newsagents and a good selection of clothing stores,
jewellery and leather goods shops. Terminals C and D offer duty-free
shopping.
Business
and meetings
There is extensive business and conference facilities at the Houston
Airport Marriot. There is a free underground train service running
from the airport to the hotel.
Disabled
assistance
The airport is suitably equipped. Special toilet facilities and
TDD telephones are located throughout the airport. Assistance is
available for the disabled by phoning (+1 281 233 3000 or TDD +1
281 230 3089). Reserved disabled parking spaces are available in
the carparks.

By taxi
Hotels in the locality often provide taxi-van pick-up services.
Such services can be booked free of charge from the baggage claim
area.
By car
The airport can be reached from a number of directions: Highway
59, Interstate 45, the Sam Houston toll road and the Hardy toll
road.
By bus
A bus service is operated with connections to most of the main tourist
destinations in the area. Services are provided by Coach USA and
Express Shuttle USA. The Houston Metropolitan Transit Authority
(METRO) also provides a service that can be caught from Terminal
C.
Parking
There is ample parking space with nearly 25,000 parking spaces in
all. There is a free shuttle service to each of the terminals. Short
term, long term and economy parking are all available. The airport
guarantees parking through its Surepark scheme which also ensures
