Guide to Guam Wonpat Guam International Airport(GUM)

The Antonio B. Won Pat Guam International Air
Terminal is by no means a sleepy island airport. It services over
300 flights a week to all major cities in the Pacific, Asia and
elsewhere around the world.
Terminals
and check-in
There is just one terminal at the airport, catering for all international
and regional flights.
Airport
facilities
There is a food court in the airport which has a wide selection
of foods and beverages. A coffee shop and restaurant provide further
refreshments and meals.
Business and meetings
The business traveller will find a conference room on the Concourse
Level between Gates 10 and 11 (Tel: +1 671-642-8937). The conference
facility is provided by Continental Airlines, and is accessible
to members of the Continental Airlines' Presidents Club.
Shopping
and money
Shopping is rather limited at the airport, with only a newsagent
and some duty-free shopping airside.
ATMs and a bureau de change facility
are located in the terminal. Other banking facilities do not exist,
so please tend to these needs prior to departure or arrival.
Disability
assistance
Facilities for those with disabilities include wheelchair access
to all airport areas, including washrooms and telephones. Those
with particular needs are advised to inform their respective airline
in advance of arrival.
Information
There is an Information Desk located in the terminal, otherwise
contact your airline for further information.

Wonpat Guam International Airport transportation
By taxi
Taxis are available from outside the terminal, but passengers are
warned that taxi drivers often overcharge. Rates should average
US$3.00 for the first mile and $0.60 for each ¼ mile after
that. Rates may fluctuate, so you may want to check before you book
a taxi for a long trip. Also, if you have any problems with any
taxi service, or believe the meter to be overcharging, the Guam
Visitors Bureau provides pre-addressed post cards for reporting
any incidents.
By car
The airport is located 3 kms northeast of Tamuning. Follow the signs
from the centre of Tamuning to the airport.
By bus
The Guam Mass Transit Authority runs buses on nine routes, linking
nearly all the villages on the island. Buses do not operate on Sundays
or public holidays. Discount fares are available for senior citizens,
disabled passengers and students.
Most hotels provide their guests free
airport pickup and return.
Parking
There is both short- and long-term parking available.
