Guide to Dublin International Airport
(DUB)
Ryanair, flies domestic and European routes from
Dublin Airport. The airport is located 10km north of Dublin’s
city centre and services domestic and international routes.
Terminals
and check-in
The airport has only one terminal, which handles both domestic and
international flights.
Airport
facilities
The airport has numerous restaurants, cafés and bars. There
is the renowned Bewley’s Café, as well as Gate Clock
Bar. O’ Brien’s Sandwiches has several outlets at the
airport, providing fresh pastries and coffee.
Short- and long-term luggage storage
is available in the atrium of the multi-storey car park. And assistance
with baggage is provided by the Greencaps portage service, available
in the departures and arrivals halls.
A dispensing pharmacy and hairdressers
are located on the departures level of the terminal building, while
parents will find a free nursery on the same level.
Business
and meetings
Business facilities are available to Anna Livia Airport Club members
and guests (tel: + 353 (0) 1 814 4521). Facilities include telephone,
fax and photocopying in boarding areas A, B and C and a meeting
room is available in boarding area B.
Shopping
and money
There are a variety of shops at the airport, including duty-free
— with excellent value Irish Waterford glass products and
other handcrafts — several clothes shops, a Butler's chocolates
outlet and travel accessories stores. Hughes and Hughes newsagent
have a wide range of magazines and literature available.
Bureaux de change facilities are located
throughout the terminal building, with 24 hour ATMs provided on
both the arrivals and departures levels and also in the atrium of
the multi-storey car park. A foreign exchange currency dispenser
is in the departures hall. There is also a post office in the car
park atrium that is open daily from 09:00 to 17:00.
Disability
assistance
Award-winning facilities are available for passengers with disabilities.
Facilities include specially adapted toilets, lifts equipped with
Braille buttons, as well as an induction loop and a counter loop
system at the information desk. Passengers should notify their respective
airline of particular needs on arrival at the airport or when booking
a flight. A Minicom Phone is available for hearing-impaired travellers
(MINICOM tel: +353 (0) 1 814 4613). Both short and long-term parking
is available for disabled passengers on the ground floor of the
multi-storey car park. This may be booked in advance (tel: +353
(0) 1 814 4828).
Information
The airport information centre, serviced by Aer Rianta staff, is
located in the arrivals hall and is open daily from 06:00 to 23:00.
The Dublin Tourist Information and Reservation Centre is located
in the arrivals hall, beside the main arrivals hall door. This centre
is open daily from 08:00 to 22:00.

By taxi
Taxis are located outside the terminal.
By car
To reach the airport by car from Dublin’s city centre, follow
the M50 northbound and exit onto the M1 northbound to the airport.
By bus
There is a local bus services stop in front of the main arrivals
road, directly outside the terminal. The Airlink Express coach runs
to Dublin's main bus station (Bus Áras) and Connolly railway
station, and to Heuston rail station. Buses depart every 15 minutes
between 07:00 and 23:00. Buses to central and suburban Dublin locations
are also available, as well as a bus serving Belfast City, provided
by Bus Eireann.
Coach services leave from the airport's
coach park on the far side of the main car park building, and include
Aircoach, which operates from the airport to Dublin city centre,
serving various hotels. Coaches leave every 15 minutes between 05:30
and 22:30. Nesters and City Link operate a service to Galway City.
Parking
There is a short-term car park only a short distance from the terminal.
The long-term car park is located just off the airport site and
may be accessed from the motorway. A free 24-hour shuttle bus service
runs regularly between to the terminal and the car park.
