Guide to Denver Jeppesen International Airport (DEN)
Denver’s airport is located 23 miles from
the city. It has an interesting design and has the unique feature
of a bridge that allows passengers to travel across the airstrip.
The airport is efficient both in terms of access and air traffic.
Terminal
and check-In
DEN has only one terminal but this is split into the east wing and
the west wing. The upper level is the baggage check-in and ticketing
area while the ground floor is for ground transportation and the
underground level is for pick up by car. Denver provides both domestic
and international flights. Like other airports there is a complementary
train shuttle connecting the farthest parts of this large terminal.
Baggage claim is on the east and west sides of level 5.

facilities
There are many eating establishments with the usual fast food chains.
There is also a food court.
Money
There are adequate supply of ATM’s and exhange bureaux within
the terminal.

By taxi
For all taxi services head for the Commercial Level, doors 506,
507 and 510. Limousines are readily available on request.
By car
From the city take the Highway I-25 northbound looking for the I-70
which leads directly to the airport.
By bus
Buses can be caught from the ground transportation level outside
baggage claim and a host of destinations around Denver are available.

Parking
Level 4 has short-term parking. Courtesy parking is provided for
stays of less than 45 minutes. Economy parking is also available
and has a free rail link service to the airport building. There
is also ample disabled parking.
