Guide to Copenhagen International Airport(CPH)
Copenhagen International Airport is 8kms southeast
of Copenhagen. The airport has seen an upturn in air traffic in
recent years. Services and transportation improvements have been
made, increasing the airport’s international status.
Terminals
and check-in
The airport has three terminal buildings. Terminal 1 offers both
long and short haul flights; Terminal 2 is domestic flights only
while most international flights depart from Terminal 3. A free
transit bus connects Terminal 1 and 3.
Airport
facilities
The shopping center has 48 shops. Ranging from bakeries through
to exclusive boutiques. There are also a number of refreshment outlets
within the complex. There is a post office located between Terminal
2 and 3.
Business
and meetings
There is a business center to be found on level 4 of Terminal 3.
Offering all office facilities and conference rooms. There is wireless
internet access for those with wireless LAN.
Shopping and money
There are banks in Terminals 2 and 3 and bureaux de change is available
06:00-22:00. ATMs are available in all terminals. There are also
ATM’s is all parking areas. There is a good selection of duty
free perfumes, spirits and confectionery.
Disability
assistance
The airport is fully accessible by wheelchair. Disabled passengers
should inform the airline of their needs in advance, to ensure smooth
passage. The car park also has disabled parking spaces.

By taxi
Taxi’s are available outside all arrivals halls. Fares include
VAT and tips and can usually be paid for by credit card. Outside
Terminal 3 is a taxi rank for Malmo, Sweden. Swedish currency is
accepted.
By car
The city is a short trip along the E20 highway and all directions
are signed from terminal buildings.
By rail
Tickets are available above the railway station in Terminal 3. There
are lifts and moving walkways running from all platforms and the
terminal buildings. Terminal 1 offers a free shuttle bus to the
station. A regular train service into the city is provided and information
is available at nearby information booths.
By bus
A free shuttle bus departs from all terminal buildings to the airport
bus station every 15 minutes from 06:00 to 23:30. Most routes into
Copenhagen and the surrounding area are available. Check times and
destinations on information boards in the bus station.
Parking
Multi-storey car parks are open 24/7 offering long and short-term
parking spaces. Reserved disabled parking spaces are located outside
Gates 3 and 6 (tel: +45 3252 8300 for more details).
