Airport transportation
By taxi
It is recommended to use the airport taxi service, located to the
left of the terminal exit. This service charges a fixed price, while
other taxi’s fares will have to be bargained. The prices for
airport taxis are on display outside the terminal buildings. The
present price for transit to Kuta is around 4,500 Rupiah.
By car
The airport can easily reached from the nearby resorts of Kuta,
Nusa Dua and Sanur. It is only 2.5 km south of Kuta and is easily
found by following the airport signage.
By bus
Buses depart from Tegal bus station in town and reach the airport
in 50 minutes. Another option is to travel by bemo. A bemo is a
chartered vehicle that carries up to 10 people. As bemos must pay
to enter the airport grounds, it saves money to walk outside the
airport gates and wait. Bemos wait in an area situated to the left
of the airport gates.
Parking
Over 2,000 parking spaces are available in one extensive car park
situated beside the airport's terminal buildings.
