V.C. Bird International Airport services both
Antigua and Barbuda and is located on the north-east corner of the
island, 8 kms from St. John’s.
Terminals
and check-in
There is just one terminal in the airport, serving all domestic
and international arrivals and departures.

facilities
Refreshments and meals are catered for by a restaurant and bar.
A post office is also available in
the airport, and operates from 08:30-15:00 Monday-Friday.
Business
and meetings
There are no business or conference facilities at the airport. However
the nearby Beach Comber Hotel, 3kms away, provides meeting rooms
and some business facilities.
Shopping
and money
Shops include a limited selection of duty-free, as well as newsagents,
souvenir outlets and a number of travel accessories outlets. Facilities
open and close with the airport, 05:00-24:00.
A 24-hour ATM is provided and a bureau
de change opens 08:00-21:00 Monday-Friday.
Disability
assistance
The disabled are catered for with lifts, ramps and specially-fitted
toilets, with wheelchairs also available at the airport. Individual
airlines can further assist passengers with special needs.

An information counter is located on the ground (public) side of
the terminal.

By taxi
Airport Taxis are located outside the terminal. Taxi-fares are regulated
by the government, but confirm the fare with the driver in advance.
By car
The airport is located on the north of the island, 10 minutes by
car from St John's. It can be reached by the Antigua Sugar Factory
Road or the Old Parham Road, followed by the Airport Road.
By bus
Many hotels offer pick-up shuttle services, but these need to be
arranged prior to arrival.
Parking
Both long- and short-term parking is available.
